Review For We Were Liars

Synopsis
We are the Liars.

We are beautiful, privileged and live a life of carefree luxury.

We are cracked and broken.

A story of love and romance.

A tale of tragedy.

Which are lies?

Which is truth?
Review
I seen this book all over Goodreads and what caught my interest was the title.  Before reading the book I thought to myself, "It's probably going to be a silly book about teenagers being teenagers." Well Lockhart blew me away!

This is going to be really short because I don't want to give anything away. I love this book and I'm sure everyone else who reads it will too.

Review For Eleanor & Pa

                                          Synopsis

Two misfits.
One extraordinary love.

Eleanor
... Red hair, wrong clothes. Standing behind him until he turns his head. Lying beside him until he wakes up. Making everyone else seem drabber and flatter and never good enough...Eleanor.

Park... He knows she'll love a song before he plays it for her. He laughs at her jokes before she ever gets to the punch line. There's a place on his chest, just below his throat, that makes her want to keep promises...Park.

Set over the course of one school year, this is the story of two star-crossed sixteen-year-olds—smart enough to know that first love almost never lasts, but brave and desperate enough to try.

Review
I was REALLY excited to read this book seeing all the good reviews. Well I did not like this book at all. I REALLY wanted to like this book but I could not. Everything happened so fast.. Eleanor and Park hated each other and then in a blink of an eye, they love each other. Did I miss something???? The only thing they had in common was the comic books. They didn't know each other at all.

I did not get their love story. I was so confused and everything about it was weird. Also, the bullying and abuse going on. Everything about it was uncomfortable for me to read. Her mom..... Poor excuse for a mother. Why would she stay with someone who would treat her kids that way?? Why would she let him kick Eleanor out of her house?!?! That pissed me off so much. The only good thing that came out of this book was Eleanor moving to her Uncle's house.

Overall this book was alright.

Review of To All The Boys I Loved Before

Synopsis
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed.

But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister's ex-boyfriend, Josh.

As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.

I LOVE this book! I went to my local library and of course I was looking for books to read. The first thing that caught my eye was the title and cover. I'm so happy I picked up this book.

I easily connected with Lara Jean because we both never had a serious boyfriend, just crushes. I seriously loved Kitty! She was soooo sassy.

Now I hope no one gets mad but I dislike Josh so much!! He is soo annoying. I hate it when guy friends are like "He's not good for you be careful." He just played with Lara's feelings and I hated how he just disrespected Margo and Lara. Then he ruins the most important party of the year! Why would you do that?

Now onto Peter. I thought he was a big jerk but now I question every jock. He was soo sweet and I didn't not expect him to be like that. Not wanting to spoil anything; I knew how things were going to play out after the notes were sent out.

I can't believe the book ended the way it did.
I'm so excited to read the next book! I NEED IT NOW. I thought this book was so cute and a fun read.

Qoutes
“You only like guys you don't have a chance with, because you're scared.”

“When someone's been gone a long time, at first you save up all the things you want to tell them. You try to keep track of everything in your head. But it's like trying to hold on to a fistful of sand: all the little bits slip out of your hands, and then you're just clutching air and grit. That's why you can't save it all up like that. Because by the time you finally see each other, you're catching up only on the big things, because it's too much bother to tell about the little things. But the little things are what make up life.”
